Bissell Steam Cleaner

My steam cleaner is a Hoover, but I figured this would work fine in it and I was right. For awhile now, I've just been using water (no cleaner at all) because it seems to still get the dirt and grime out, but I started noticing stained areas would come back after a few weeks, likely because the kids spilled something and it was attracting dirt.

I decided to give the Bissell cleaner a shot. The first thing I noticed was that areas that I considered stained and would never come out, came out. I had one area where I put straight cleaner on it and kind of worked it in with my finger. This has been stained for years and, viola, it came out! Once the cleaning was complete, I waited to see how well it would stay clean and I'm happy to say, I noticed a real difference. I'm very pleased.

I was a bit concerned about the "Febreese Freshness". I'm not a big Febreeze fan. I find it over powering in most cases. This scent was pleasant and not over powering at all.

All in all, I will definitely purchase this again. The bottle I have will last a long time though!

Smells really good, and, holy cow, does it clean

This item was given to me for my review.
I worried that the BISSELL Professional Deep Cleaning with Febreze Freshness liquid would be way too perfumed for my taste. Items with a strong odor tend to give me migraines. However, the Spring scent of this product is very fresh and pleasant. I didn't find it overpowering at all once it was on the carpet. The cleaner also cleans like a dream. I have several pets, some with medical issues, and my carpet was in DESPERATE need of cleaning. I filled a spray bottle with the cleaner and some water and pretreated the worst spots and shampooed the rest. I am very happy with the results. We will see over time whether or not it hides the smells that were coming from the carpet (why I prefer tile), but for now I can say that it is doing the trick. Since it is concentrated, I think it will last me a while, but I know I will be buying it again.

An Absolute Success!

I used this with a new Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Washer, FH50150, and really liked it.

Just before using this product, I used the Hoover cleaning solution that came with the machine, and haivng tried both, I find this product to be clearly superior.

This Bissell cleaning solution seemed to get the carpet cleaner and last longer than the "other" solution. It also provided a light, clean scent that made the room seem cleaner than when I was using the "other."

The carpet is now *significantly* cleaner, and sufficiently cleaner than the portion the "other" was on that I went back over it and could see the improvement.

If you are comparing cleaners, this product is a real winner.
